Eileen Gray E1027: TRANSAT CHAIR

This project is a case study of the Transatlantique Chair, which was included in the original design of Eileen Gray’s E1027 house. The following explores the relationship of this piece to the rest of the E1027’s structure as well as other objects in the house. The physical qualities of the chair are analyzed and examined in the greater context of the house.
